I'm 19 years old and have LONG THICK HAIR (like criss angel or Tarzan) my biggest fear is hair loss. I'm not experiencing hair loss but just curious. If you can get hair loss through genes who do you get it from? What i mean is my dad has long thick hair. My mom (which I inhertited my hair from) has long thick wavy hair. Is it possible for me to get bald still. Hair loss/Balding through family genes?
Genetic is a prominant cause of hair loss but as you say your parents have no hair loss it would be a plus point for you. there are several other reason of hair loss, the main abnormality of hair loss is a more rapid cycle of hair growth. The hair follicles become smaller and the hair is shorter and thinner. They are shed earlier than normal, giving rise to a sparser and lighter growth.
some time stressy condition also cause some temporary hair loss like high fever, pregnancy, sudden gain or loss of weihgt and use of drugs etc.Hair loss/Balding through family genes?
Well, it really depends on luck whether you will face with early hair loss or not. As hair loss genes can come from both of your parents as well as skipping a generation that means that your granparents from both sides of the family can be passing the genes to you.
So you just got to pray hard and see whether it will come. If it does, treat it early and don't wait because Male Pattern Baldness is really difficult to treat...take a look below to understand further about Genetic Hair Loss.
it is genetically , but usually hair loss is produced by a problem in your organism , usually stress .
Use products for your hair , and you shouldn't have it too long
