Hair loss?I am 16 wks pg with #1 and just this morning i noticed a bald patch on my scalp.?

It's probably ok--your hair grows like crazy during pregnancy and it is just probably related to fluctuating hormones...I would call your OB though and let them know...Always always call your OB--he/she knows you better than any of us and they want you to call if you have any questions or unusual circumstances--they don't want you to worry or not tell them something--that's what they are there for and nothing you ask or tell them is anything they haven't heard before and nothing they will think is stupid...call your Doc and don't worry--pregnancy is full of things you never thought you would go through!Hair loss?I am 16 wks pg with #1 and just this morning i noticed a bald patch on my scalp.?
Hair loss is very common with pregnancy. I lost a lot (though didn't actually get a bald spot...but I had an extraordinary amount of hair to begin with). The loss stopped after giving birth. I assume it grew back, but I can't say for sure.





Talk to your doc on your next prenatal visit just to be on the safe side.
are you taking your prenatal vitamins like your suppose to that normal helps you out.. I notice the same thing happening the first time I was and I also took children's Flinstone vitamins and my hair started coming back that was advised by a friend with that same problem
I have never heard of this but my only guess would be this-





If your not eating healthy enough- or taking prenatal vitamins than the baby is taking all of your nutrients. Malnourishment leads to hair loss. Ask you doctor at your next appointment whether or not its pregnancy related.

This is probably a sign that you don't have enough iron in your diet. You could always take a supplement. You may also be anemic. I would definitely check with a doctor.
I am 21 weeks pregnant ant i am loosing hair too. I did it with my fie\rst child as well but it grew back. If you are worried about it you can always ask your dr.
