My first German shepherd lost all the fur on his body due to an undiagnosed stomach tumor which eventually caused the bloat that killed him. He was unable to get the nutrition he needed because of the tumor, and that caused the fur loss problem.



He was also tested for allergies, thyroid function, mange, etc., and nothing showed up in tests. We spent 5,000 dollars (US) over a two year period, trying to find out what was wrong, so you have my understanding and sympathy.



I've also seen pictures of a German shepherd with similar symptoms, and the problem in that case was an enzyme deficiency. Again, the dog was unable to digest his food and make full use of the nutrients. The addition of digestive enzymes to his food made the difference, and he grew his fur back.



Have your dog checked out for possible stomach or pancreatic tumors, and ask the vet about the possibility of an enzyme deficiency or other nutrional-based problems. Also look into the possibility of allergies to common products in dog foods such as corn.

Could be a thyroid problem. Get your dog checked out by your vet.
It could be a number of things that will cause this. Thyroid problems, worms, fleas, mange, FOOD ALLERGIES, and etc. The best thing i can tell u to do is take the dog to the vet as they can determine what is wrong since u really love ur dog and want to help it.
