Please be serious with the answers. I find this no laughing matter. Age: 37I had a baby boy 2 months ago and I am experiencing dramatic hair loss. It's falling out in wads. What's wrong?
Hormones have alot to do with it. They are so haywire right now. Mention it at your baby's next checkup or go to your doctor and talk to him/her. I can recommend a product called Nioxin in the meantime to help you. Also there is a supplement called Vitamins for Hair, but make sure you check with your doctor before taking it if you are breastfeeding. I don't know if these could bother the baby.I had a baby boy 2 months ago and I am experiencing dramatic hair loss. It's falling out in wads. What's wrong?
You're experiencing the residual effects of undernourishment that can sometimes accompany pregnancy. If you don't want to see a doctor, then start taking a regular dose of high end prenatal vitamins. Doctor's often recommend these to expecting mothers to prevent exactly what's going on with you. This will help replenish the nutrients that your pregnancy required and get your hair growing back. Another thing you can do is use Mane and Tail shampoo. It was originally for horses but now they sell it for people because it's so good at thickening hair and making it grow. I would recommend seeing your doctor, however, as he can give you things much more effective that you can do in conjunction with these. Good luck,
That would have to be so scary for you at only 37
but children are so stressful that they do that to you ( one of the beniefs of being a mum)
you should go see your local hair loss treatment store before it gets any worse

Because of hormonal changes in their bodies, nearly 50 percent of women experience hair loss after pregnancy. Normal hair production will eventually resume, though it can take as long as six months.
Some methods of preventing hair loss are merely old wives' tales. These include massaging your scalp, standing on your head to increase blood flow to hair follicles, and vigorous hair brushing.
If you experience a sudden hair loss not related to pregnancy, age or other explainable factors, contact your doctor.

ITS NORMAL!!! read this article. very trusted parenting website. I use it for everything! http://www.babycenter.com/0_postpartum-h
are you stressed?
Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out
