My twin boys will be 5 months pretty soon... I've heard that after pregnancy women tend to loose their hair... Is this true? My hair loss is so dramatic that I am starting to worry and stress about it. Has anyone gone through this and can you share your experience???I have had major hair loss for the last 1 1/2 months... What can I do to prevent my hair from falling out?
My daughter had bad hair loss after her last pregnancy. She had long hair (1/2 way down her back). She cut it to a little shorter than shoulder length to minimize that loss. Her son is now 7 months old and she has noticed that her hair is growing back in.
The most common period of hair loss occurs approximately three months after delivery. The rise in hormones during pregnancy keeps you from losing your hair. After delivery, the hormones return to normal levels, which allows the hair to fall out and return to the normal cycle. The normal hair loss that was delayed during pregnancy may fall out all at once.
Up to 60% of your hair that is in the growth state may enter into the telogen resting state. The hair loss usually peaks 3-4 months after delivery as your hair follicles rejuvenate themselves. As noted before, this hair loss is temporary and hair loss returns to normal within six to twelve months.I have had major hair loss for the last 1 1/2 months... What can I do to prevent my hair from falling out?
See a dr and talk about stress and running lab tests to check your thyroid. The thyroid gland can be responsible for hair loss, lethargy, depression, weight gain and much more.
Stress can make you loss your hair.you have to try and take some time for your self and try to not stress.I personaly did not go trough this but I know some one that did and it was from stress wow two boys at once that can be stressful.
the vitamin b complex is known to help with hair and nail problems. ask your doctor
not only it will stop it from falling, but also help you get it all back
it happpenes alot! aspecially with stress and that is the cause of it.
stop stressing or it will get worse.
go to your local health food specialty store and pick up a bottle of NONI juice. this should help you. it tastes really bad, but you will feel 100% better within a couple of weeks!
Wash your hair every other day instead of every day. I lose the most hair during shampooing and conditioning and blowing dry. Also, count your hairs. This takes a while, but if you've got a handful of hairs that have fallen out during your shower, dry them off and count them one by one. It's okay to be losing 50-100 strands a day, according to my stylist.
my son is about to be 3 months and im losing tons of hair too. i wash my hair every other day. i tend to lose my hair during shampooing. i know how you feel. i feel like im gonna be bald....eeek! but just dont stress.
