i gopt a pitt bull its nearly 3 yrs old. it first started to get patches of hair loss now its taill and bottom of the dog is skin its paws are pink and its loosing hair on its face and getin white patches on its back withh hair loss it keeps on gettin loads of marks like scars on its face aswell what do i do? its sandy colour black nosePit bull hair fallen off, bottom of body is skin 2yr old, tail and back got patches and hair loss what do i do?

You need to have taken your dog to the vet as soon as it started, not to do so can easily be viewed as neglect, so your dog either has one of the 2 kinds of mange (one of which they have to be put down because of) or parasites. I STRONGLY suggest you get your dog to the vet immediately for a skin scraping test and hope that your vet doesn't report you to the animal control for not having addressed this problem sooner (as in immediately). Anybody with any common sense would have known that it wasn't going to get any better withOUT medical intervention!

Don't you have a regular Vet for your dog? This could be anything from allergies, mange, ringworm or even thyroid problems. Just take the dog to the Vet for a skin scraping and blood panel work up. The breed of dog, age, or color has nothing to do with the issue. Open your wallet and get moving.
scars on his face? is your dog neuterted? sounds to me hes maybe been fighting that would explain the upcoming scars. the hairloss could be down to stress or something hes allergic to in his diet. you need to get him 2 a vet asap. and make sure you dont let him out of your sight!

only a vet can diagnose it. DO NOT take this lightly- there are problems that can cause symptoms like this that are potentially deadly, not to mention possibly contagious!
You must be one of those ';underprivileged'; with ';no $$$ for vet';, right?
