Will Rogane (the hair loss stuff) keep hair from falling off the front of my head?

I'm 17 and have already lost around a 1/2 inch of hair on top of my head. rogane said it wasnt designed for use on the front of the head, but it is for regrowth, i just want to prevent it from falling out. Anyone have an experience with this? Will Rogane (the hair loss stuff) keep hair from falling off the front of my head?
What coincidence. I'm 17 years old and thinning too and using rogane. I am still using it now,but I wasn't satisfied with my results. I went to my dermatologist and he said on my 18 b-day he is going to give me propecia prescription. So there I can grow the front side back. If propecia doesn't help I try a hair transplant that's the only option left, but you have to be 23 years old.
