Seeing a doctor for hair loss?

hey, my hair over the last few years has started to recede a lot and thin out quite a lot on the top of my head. i tried rogain foam to no effect so i want to see a doctor about it. my question is should i see a dermatologist? or just a regular doctor?Seeing a doctor for hair loss?

I tried rogaine and it worked on me, did you put it on for at least two months? Coz my start working within two months. Well if you see a regular doctor he'll probably give you propecia. And if you see a dermatologist I dunno what he would do to you, but if you can afford the money and get your worries off you, you should go ahead~
