It sorta depends on why the hair loss is happening - If its genetic, or health related, see a doctor. If its stress related, then no product will encourage the hair to regrow. Once you relax %26amp; take better care of your health, the hair should slowly return.



if its due to abuse %26amp; severe damage - weaves, constant relaxing, coloring, heat treatments etc - then the only way for the hair to renew itself is for you to cease those actions - drastically! You'll need at least 2 months of a harm free hair care diet to allow the hair to ';recover'; After that, you'll need 2 months of ';nuturing'; - scalp treatments, deep conditionings etc. After that you'll need 2 months of ';reinforcement'; - basically repetition of the past 4 months.



There are plenty miracle products out there - but NONE will work if you dont heed my advice above.What is a good hair loss product for black people or african american hair?
There's only two hair loss drugs clinically tested and FDA approved : Minoxidil (Rogaine and other brands) and Finasteride (Proscar, Propecia, etc.), there are some interesting drugs too like Dutasteride or Follica but there aren't enough studies yet.



Laser treatment can improve your existing hair but wont help you regrow lost hair, hair transplant works but i would consider it the last option.



Minoxidil 2% would be the best option for you, since it's safe for women.



Quite frankly all the other stuff are either placebos or scams.

have you ever used Carols Daughter? its really good. lisa hair Elixer (even though thier online customer service sucks.) also carrot oil and i dont know if you go to the salon or not but i go to the Doobie shop and they girls there sell this Dominican oil that works wonders.
check out why you are losing your hair. it could be diabetes or another medical condition. if not increase your vitamin intake. prenatals are good, chronium is good too, vitamins b and e also.
