Hair loss is due to genes . .. Probably from either one of your sides . . . You have two . . . One is your Paternal and the other is your Maternal. It is not a medical condition.
I would suggest taking a good multivitamin (start taking it immediately).

Try not to over style it (brushing, blow drying, curling/flat iron).
Also, gently massage your scalp to increase circulation of blood.
You should probably go to a doctor to find out why your hair is falling out.

You also might want to try going to a Doctor just to make sure that your hairloss is not becuase of something else. Sometiemes anemia, or other things can cause hairloss. Prescriptions are usually given and the hair comes back.
