My pit bulls shedding like crazy and has little red dry spots of hair loss?

This started about 3 months ago, I noticed he was biting his hips and about a week ago, its like a dry red spot and its loss some hair around it and now he's getting more each day and biting them. Its like very dry skin. He's also shedding like crazy. Is there some over the counter creams or spray I can get to get the dry skin to sooth it? There not flea bites either, he's on frontline.My pit bulls shedding like crazy and has little red dry spots of hair loss?

You need to take your dog to the vet, it could be any number of things. It could be your dog has an allergy to the food that you are feeding him. The allergies will make them scratch their skin raw. It could be a skin infection, which needs antibiotics, or it could also be mange. You need to take your dog to the vet, they can probably diagnose. My dog dies that too its because a allergies my dog bites her feet and it creates little dry redness because the skin is irritated just give your dog Benidrill
