not that i know of sorry, have you had the thyroxine tablets? i only know a limited amount on this subject but i have had this at one point. hope you find the answer xThyroid and hair loss?
No, as you say yourself it is a result of your thyroxine levels.
I get a bit of hair loss now and then due to underactive thyroidthe only thing i can suggest so that it doesn't make it worse is not to stress out about it.
Not specifically I am afraid. It also might be important which type of hair loss you have developed. Is it simple thinning, or have you developed an areata type problem with spherical bald patches? The later does tend to reverse.
i have a underactive thyroid and on thyroxine i need a larger dose but doc wont let me its breaking my heart the state of my hair, so i know how you feel and what your going through and the docs dont give a damm
